I loaded the girls up and we drove from Pleasant Grove up to Logan to go visit old friends from South Bend. We were able to pick our breakfast from their garden (which is AMAZING! Handfuls of raspberries for breakfast? Don't mind if I do!). We then loaded everyone up and tried to head out on a hike. Unfortunately, the weather was most uncooperative, and we persevered through the warm wet rain up until we heard thunder. That was enough to send us scuttling back down the mountain.

Quinn, in his spiderman outfit, was a little on the slow side. He was more interested in walking sedately and kept getting further behind. We had a hard time trying to convince him he wanted to keep up with us. |

Our morning passed too quickly and we had to pack up and head south. Jillian left her kids with hugs and kisses and came with me, we dropped of my kids with hugs and kisses, and then she and I headed to Spanish Fork to spend the next two days eating amazing food, and talking, talking, talking with friends at our women's retreat for Piece Offerings.
Today was also my 16th wedding anniversary. It was sad I barely got to see Travis on his birthday (he got in at 11pm), and he was already home in NY when our anniversary arrived. He left me a little gift to open on our anniversary: a beautiful ruby in silver pendant. I absolutely love it.
