Cross Country Trip Day 14 (Wednesday): Orem

We started out our morning meeting with Brett's and Amy's families for bowling at BYU. Allan's family had gone to visit Buffy's side in the morning. We had fun rolling the ball, and dropping the ball, and sorta keeping score.

I could not get enough time holding this sweet little baby!

Annie was super eager to get started, too!

Will it make it?

Hmmm, not so good at this, but still having fun

Bowling held little interest, and these two ladies were more excited to play games on the iPad

Hmmm, this ball?

Miranda after a good roll

Cuddling Kate again.

Cuddling Peter again.

Final Score!

After we finished our game, we headed over to the Cougareat for lunch. We got to pick out some yummy food and spend a few more minutes with the Bailey's before we headed up to visit Grandma Winkie.

We did have a few minutes for the girls to go shopping as we waited for Allan's family to meet up with us to say g'bye. So the girls went shopping for baseball caps and umbrellas.

"Mom! This would be perfect for Keven!"

Who said you need rain to use an umbrella?

We then headed north to go visit Grandma Winkie. The girls had fun playing in the tree outside, and we gathered some stories about Grandpa Eddie, looking at his flight logbook and pictures.

We did not get nearly enough time to spend with Grandma Winkie and Terry & Lynette. But we were grateful for all the time, smiles, and especially the stories.
