Cross Country Trip Day 21 (Wednesday, 7/15): Thanksgiving Point

We wanted to get one more trip in to Thanksgiving Point, so we packed another picnic and headed over to the Farm and then to the Dinosaur Wing. I'm not sure which was more entertaining or fun, but we all enjoyed the entire day.

Kate fell asleep in my arms as we were wanting through the Dinosaur section. It was a quick cat nap, but I was glad she trusted me enough and let her mama take care of little Peter.

This mom is amazing! She was a great and fun person to go play with- just wish we lived closer!!!

Nica and Annie became better buddies, enjoying the same things and running together from one exhibit to the next.

Nica was the only one able to pose in front of the Great White.

In Kindergarten, Zoë studied the Elephant Bird that was in Madagascar but is now extinct. This is one of the first times we got to get an idea of how TALL these birds really were.
One of the highlights was for the kids to uncover dinosaur bones. They had fun digging and cleaning them together.

Lunch time! We spread out the blankets and pulled out the goodies. Megan had fun creating little monsters, or were they men?

Back at Grandma's house, the kids borrow the camera and started taking pictures of each other. They got Kate to sing, sitting on the bunk bed, and then did all sorts of crazy things together.
