I Will Do It!

Well, I think I have another independent little girl.
Not surprising given her sisters.

We started Veronica on graham crackers, and she loves them. She is not interested in oatmeal cereal. She could take or leave the peas. She did like the black beans, though.

But, no matter what I tried to feed her, she wants to do it herself. She has to "help" me guide the food to her mouth.

I can hear it now, her first words: "I Will Do It!"

She made short work of the graham cracker:

Those dresses are so cute! I almost made matching skirts for Easter...but I'm so slow. I wish you were here to help! They look awesome! I can't believe how big Miranda looks!!!

It's because they have great parents who allow and encourage them to try new things. I'm impressed with how coordinated 'Nica is though. Not many babies can control things that well and get it to their mouths (or you do a really good job of making it look that way on video).
Love those girls baby blues! They get prettier with each kid!
The new quotes on the side made me giggle. I can totally see that exchange between Travis and Miranda. :) There are three kinds of candy Travis eats--Peeps-slightly stale, Cinnamon Bears-he got me hooked on those, and orange slices.

Yup! She is growing up. I love the "I do it!" stage. You forget that they want to try so many things and that they can but they let you know if you forget...

Ah, Nica and Ella have a similar streak in them. Solid foods were what she wanted so she could do it herself. Oh, and my life got much easier.
