I've been reading conference talks from six months ago, and I made an Easter Lily and found a wonderful poem to go with it. I've also been thinking about Easter and it's meaning. All of these things have helped me to think more about the blessings in my life, and the wonderful Gifts I've received from my Father in Heaven.
The greatest of these gifts, of course, was of His Son, Jesus Christ. I have seen this act have a personal impact in my life- many times. I have felt the joy and peace of repentance, and felt His love in welcoming me home after abandoning my mistakes.
I am grateful for the friends and family who have shared love with me, and taught me. I'm grateful for the beautiful daughters who have taught me the meaning of Christ-like love, and how much love a parent can have for a child. I am grateful for their smiles and their joy.
I'm also grateful for the amazing husband who helped me bring these beautiful ladies into this world. This best friend of mine has held me up, and been a wonderful father to these girls. I am grateful for his friendship, the fun we have, and the strength he is to me in so many different ways.
I love my Savior. I am grateful for the true Gospel that shows me how to return to His presence and that of my Father in Heaven's.
I hope you are able to feel His love this Easter.
