Summer Trip: August 3, Day 15

We left early Wednesday morning and headed to Colorado. We took I-70, and I wouldn't ever drive from SLC to Denver any other way. It was BEAUTIFUL! Even the flat section just before you cross into the mountains had its own desert beauty.

We arrived in Denver at my friend's house around 2pm in the afternoon, not bad for little ones, pit stops, etc.

Grandma Jan had driven down from Wyoming to visit a friend of hers, and she came to pick up Dad so they could drive back to Newcastle. It was an especially long day for my dad driving, but I was so grateful to have his help and companionship for the trip we made together.

I was also glad that Veronica warmed up and really loves her Grandpa Wing!
