Cross Country Trip Day 13 (Tuesday): Orem

Since this is the third time I've (tried to) load pictures with captions, I'm going to let the pictures mostly speak for themselves.

It seems that one of Travis' favorite things to do is go to amusement parks! So for his birthday celebration we headed to Lagoon with family. We were glad to have lots of aunt, uncles, cousins together and spend an awesome day playing!

Are we there yet?
Um, yeah, they were a little bored waiting for everyone to arrive so we could finally go into the park.

This Dragon ride was Zoë's favorite

Zoë and her Aunt Becky

These tie-died shirts turned out perfectly! SO fun to make, and so great to wear together to the amusement park.

Miranda is not my timid child. She was so excited to go on this amazing roller-coaster ride. Since she was willing to ride "solo" (meaning not need to be next to anyone she knew), she and Aunt Becky headed almost straight to the front of the line.

Only took five minutes to get here! Most people waited almost 2 hours in line.

I did it!

Awesome! It was AWESOME!

They rocked it

Playing with their cousin's hair.

Annie fell asleep in her dad's arms while waiting for the ride. He hung back until Molly and James finished their ride and then passed her off to them so he could ride the water snake rapids.

Nica was not very thrilled to be going on this ride.

She didn't like the bumpy unpredictable ride, nor was she looking forward to being soaked.

Poor thing!

She was not having fun.

OK, so that wasn't so bad...

Yup, she got soaked, and in the end loved it. But had NO desire to repeat the ride.

Aunt Becky took over nap guard duty.

Annie slept in the little-kid-ride section, and slept soundly through all the screaming, crying, shouting, etc.

Nica was glad to find someone of like-minded desire for more sedate rides. She and Micah had a great time in the little-kid ride section.

Hmmm, weird hair and Megan in the same pictures. I wonder who was the instigator?

I had so much fun with Micah! (Yes, I was there, too)

Although their dads were none too thrilled that this aunt let them run through the fountain, they had a great time splashing in the water.

We warmed up a little more, and were glad to get some hot food in our bellies.

We warmed up enough to even eat ice cream or blizzards!
