Cross Country Day 19 (Monday): Swimming, Temple, and G'bye to Travis

After spending the weekend at Nana's house, and since Travis had completed his conference, we packed up the van. Our first stop was at the Jordan River Temple.

Since it had been almost 17 years since Travis and I were sealed. We enjoyed showing the girls to see the grounds and the building where our family started.

Jordan River Temple and the most important people in my life: Travis, Zoë, Megan, Miranda, and Veronica

Very hard to believe it's been almost 17 years!

He only had to strain  little to hold me...

After touring the temple, we decided to drive back to Becky's and let the girls swim and let Travis say g'bye before I took him to the airport.

Matching shirts?!

After dropping off Travis, I stopped in to interview Grandma Winkie. Sadly, I forgot my recorder and so the stories were not saved beyond my memory. I headed back to Becky's in Pleasant Grove and got a call from Travis saying his flight was delayed. To make matters worse, once he got near Chicago there were 7 tornadoes, so his flight was diverted from Midway to ORD airport. He was going to try and drive, but there were no vehicles available, so he spent the night in an uncomfortable airport, then flew to FLORIDA the following morning before he finally got home later the next afternoon. Poor guy!
