Conferences

Travis went to Florida and Ohio for two conferences in May. He was gone almost 9 days (but it felt like 2 weeks!) This was the week I "got out of" teaching Seminary, but I know I worked more and slept less on those days than if I had been teaching.

His next conference was in Wisconsin at a regional Zebrafish meeting. I know he's had a lot more fun and was busier because I didn't heard from him much, and it was always noisy in the background when he did call. But, it wasn't all work, thankfully! He was able to visit an old lab friend of his from his Baylor College of Medicine days: Carolyn. And, see her 3 kids and husband.

Oh, and he's not done with conferences! He has two more in July. The best part is that I get to go with him to these conferences (without kids). But more on that later...
