Book Worms

These girls LOVE a good story. Whether it's read or told to them, they love hearing and experiencing something old or new, just so long as it's a story. They are even getting pretty good at telling them.

Mrs. Hall, our dear neighbor across the street, came over to return some powdered sugar she borrowed. While here, she sat down to visit. I think it took her about 20 minutes to relate the story behind the cake she was making that she borrowed the powdered sugar for because the girls were very excited to have her visit, too!

Then, she said she'd read them a story. And it didn't take long for all 3 girls to settle in with her. Bless her! You can tell she's a mom, but she's also a wonderful neighbor and friend!
