Cross Country Trip Day 16 (Friday): Orem, Part One

A We slept in and leisurely made our way to grandma and grandpa's house. The younger cousins played while I took Zoë shopping for a new swimsuit. Her old one had completely worn out in the bottom.

It was a pain! Zoe doesn't like frilly stuff. The only good swimsuit we found was $60 and still didn't look quite right. So we called Aunt Molly Who recommended Poco Loco where  we found a swimsuit she loved.

When we got back to grandma and grandpa's house, the clouds rolled in and the thunder started blooming as we ate lunch. The kids went outside to eat, because it wasn't raining it, and soon found themselves building a fort to protect themselves from the rain. Because they were having so much fun we decided we were not in a hurry to get to the Provo Rec Center to go swimming.

Buried under the chairs and umbrellas are five kids (Megan. Nica, Andrew, Ella, and Annie). Miranda and a few more umbrellas, another table and some buckets were added as the rain came tumbling down.

Before the rain:

Ella walking to the fort "entrance" that is guarded by Andrew. You can see Nica (sitting up in a hat) and Megan (wrapped in a blanket), and not seen is Annie.
