Cross Country Trip Day 11 (Sunday): Orem

We woke Sunday morning, heading to church at Grandma and Grandpa's ward. The Giauques had permission to bless Peter in their ward.

Miranda was super nervous about attending a new ward, where she didn't know where to go, or any of the people. But, she was just fine! I think it might have helped that Andrew was in her class (although he probably was sad that he was kicked out of Jack's class).

After church we had a great lunch, a

Porter was excited to use the Red Vine as a straw.

Greg, Jerry and Travis talking after dinner.

Don't worry, she didn't sit on her. But, Kate would follow Danika around and tug on her tail, or rub her ears, or pat her head/nose.

The kids LOVED Danika! And she was so patient and good with every one of the kids who played with her.

Two very lovely ladies. They are so beautiful.

Brett and Josh talking with Allan and Sarah

Allan and Sarah, I wish I could remember the subject they were discussing.

The kids ran in and out, up and down and around. But they also spent a lot of time playing with Legos.

After a leasirely afternoon, we got dolled up and headed to take family pictures. I agonized over what to wear, as it was supposed to be "Sunday Dress". But, at the last minute I told the girls to change into their dark denim bottoms and their new Gap t-shirts. It was the right decision! And, although we didn't coordinate or plan things, we all blended rather well.

Except for Andrew's crazy photobomb, I love this picture of Ella

Andrew got his own picture

Annie, sweet girl and spunky child that she is, has an incredibly strong stubborn streak. I was trying to convince her to scoot down just a little (to balance the photo), and she would NOT.

I did get her to laugh, even though she was still trying not to

I love Zoë's smile.

Claire, Ella, Veronica (Annie was not interested in any more pictures)

Poor girl was just DONE, and was crying into her dad's hip.

Ninja Nica?
I am excited to see the final group shots of our whole family, and the kids and their families, and the siblings. It is so awesome how much we have grown in the last 17 years.
