Travis took the girls shopping and subsidized their money so they could get me some very nice things. The girls were so excited to have me open their gifts! I was excited to see their reaction, and they all did a great job selecting the perfect gifts (with help).
| Miranda helped by handing me the gifts. Nica helped me open them. |
| Megan made funny faces (really!) and Zoë took pictures. |
| Miranda modelling the glass bowls she got me. |
| Reading the card. |
| Zoë went ALL OUT on the gift wrap. |
| The tea kettle was perfect. Sadly, in all the transport and wrapping, the lever to open the spout got stuck. Zoë said, "See mom? I got you the perfect gift: a project and a present!" |
| I had picked out a book for the girls to further a series Miranda got for Christmas (Shannon Hale's Ever After High). Travis wrapped it up and gave it to me for my birthday book- which made ALL of us crack up! |
| See!?! Megan making more faces! |
| Travis took most of the photos- on his work iPad! |
| So handsome. |
| Opening the jewelry Nica got that Megan found that matches the bracelet Nica got me for Christmas. |
| Megan's spin-the-wheel card. |
| Love my girls! Love pictures of us together, too. |
| Even funny ones. |
| See!? Silly faces!! |
For my "cake" we had some of Nanaunt's cream-cheese filled chocolate cupcakes (YUM!). I had a hard time blowing out the "Sparkler" candles, even with help! But, that's ok, because I have EVERYTHING I could possibly wish for: an awesome handsome caring husband; beautiful, smart, healthy and spiritual daughters; a warm home (even if the temperature reached a HIGH of 31); a sunny birthday; lots of love from family and friends; a healed back (yay!); and so many more blessings and gifts.
Don't think my birthday is over- there's one more....
