I've referenced this recipe that is a favorite so many times that I decided I needed to place it on my own blog. These are great to make ahead of time for picnics or sack lunches, but they are super good right out of the oven.
My daughters' favorite!20 Frozen dinner rolls, thawed** (I use Rhodes)
Tomato Paste
1 teaspoon Italian herbs OR Spaghetti Sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
5 Mozarella cheese sticks, each cut into four pieces
Pizza toppings (sliced olives, ham, pepperoni, etc.)

Mix tomato paste and herbs together (alternate- use spaghetti sauce, no need to add spices). Roll out dinner rolls to about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Place about 1 teaspoon tomato paste in the center of the dough. Place one piece of cut cheese on top. Place about 1 tablespoon toppings on top of cheese.

Fold dough in half, forming a semi-circle.

Fold bottom edge of dough up to cover the edges and pinch to seal.

Place on parchment paper (or greased cookie sheet). Repeat with remaining rolls. Using a sharp knife or scissors, cut a ventilation hole into the top of the semicircle.

Bake at 350ºF for ~20 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbling out vent. Allow to cool ~5 minutes. They will be VERY hot inside.

**Didn't remember to thaw the frozen rolls? Just warm the oven up to 200, TURN OFF, and then place an oven-safe dish with frozen rolls on it (covered so the rolls don't dry out) in the oven for about 20 min or until mostly thawed.
