Nadine's Birthday- Part 1: Travis' Spring Break & Niagara Falls

I won't write much. The pictures are more fun!
Travis and I got a date- so we combined his "Spring Break" and my birthday celebration into one day and went to Niagara Falls. We even went to the Canadian side, which was smart to do first- better view!

Oh, and yes, it was COLD. I think the temp was in the 20s, but with windchill in the single digits (if not below!). Thankfully the sun came out and that always makes it feel warmer (even if it isn't).

It was a wonderful day/date!

Can I say I felt sheepish that I had an "a-hah!" moment when I took this picture?

Selfies are particularly challenging when you have the sun in your eyes, and you are trying to get someone who is 6'4" tall while being a 5'2" person who is balancing on a fence railing. Whew!

I am grateful that the USA kept their park free of developement. It really makes the view better. I kinda wish Canada had done the same... and I wish the border crossing didn't take so stinking long! 30 minutes with "no traffic" (sigh).
