Haircuts

Today, I guess I got a bee in my bonnet for haircuts. Travis was getting shaggy and curly, so this morning I have him a trim. Then, having discussed it for weeks, all the tangles and all the frustration for brushing snarles out of hair, tonight I decided it was time to cut Nica's and Miranda wanted a trim, too. Megan asked for one, but I am not comfortable cutting her hair. I was nervous enough about Nica's and Miranda's!

My final opinion is still out on Nica's haircut, but Miranda's looks cute (same, just shorter). What do you think? Before/After shots below:

I think I cut about 8" off Miranda's hair and easily a foot off Nica's! Travis only lost an inch, but his is so thick the cuttings were almost as much as both girls put together! Zoë got her hair cut about two weeks ago, and she is happy with it. Ironically, I would like her hair shorter (this after years of saying it had to be long enough to put into a ponytail; I gave up on that). So, it is just Megan and I who haven't had recent cuts. And, I am in no hurry. In fact, I am actually trying to grow out my bangs. I am getting there...

 

I just don't know if I will keep it. We'll see.
