All I want for Christmas is...

So, have you heard about the Silhouette machine? It's like a Cricut, which most people heard of, but actually I prefer to compare it more to a plotter with a blade- if you know what a plotter is. Anything that you draw on your computer can be drawn with this little machine. Even better, there's a print-and-cut feature where you can import any picture into the software, print it with your printer, and then cut out whatever shape you drew/chose of that print. It's AWESOME. It also can cut fabric! Of course, there's the standard vinyl, but also 3D objects, and the normal die-cut-like things. I love LOVE LOVE this machine!

Oh, and did I mention it doesn't require any cartridges? You can buy shapes (for $1 each) on their online store, but you can also 'draw' your own, or use their software to 'trace' an imported object. I have turned preschool pdfs into already-cut-out kits. So awesome!!!

I bought my machine with money I saved for my birthday just months before they released the new machine. The new machine has better software, and it also cuts 12x12. I haven't minded too much having just the 8.5x11 cutting machine, and I'm able to do so much. But, still, I would love to have the Silhouette Cameo and even some of their fun new accoutrements (printable tattoo paper, printable silver and gold paper, just to name a few).

And, if I don't win, I don't mind advertizing (I've had a few people with Cricuts sell ALL their stuff and go buy a Silhouette!) because it is such an awesome machine. Yeah, even for people who aren't super computer savvy, it's still a good purchase! SO much you can do with it....
