Keepin' the Camera, but...

OK. So I've decided to keep my rough and ready camera. The one that I can drop, splash, swim with, and carry in my beat-up purse without worrying too much about kids jumping on it. Why? Just for those reasons above. It is NOT the best photo-taking camera. With some work I can get "decent" pictures. I'm happy that I got some great shots at Silver Beach last week with this little camera. I am looking forward to taking it in a swimming pool to see what we can do there!

BUT, I am going to save up and hold out for a really nice digital SLR camera some day. Just look at these amazing pictures my friend took. OK, well, she has a LOT of talent to capture the shot, too. I just aspire to be like her someday...
