Snow

Here's an excerpt from our local paper:

some snowfall totals as of 9 p.m. EST [Monday], gained from the National Weather Service and Facebook posts:

LaPorte, 18 inches
Westville, 21 inches
Michigan City, 16 inches
South Bend, 6 inches
Bridgman, 8 inches
St. Joseph, 7 inches
Edwardsburg, 2 inches

Yeah, we've had some snow. We had a snow day yesterday. I wish I'd been more prepared to play! But I got some things done, and then enjoyed the afternoon playing video games with Zoë. It was crazy because, with lake effect snow, you can have sunny skies and a few miles away it can be dumping a foot of snow. We had the sunny skies (and hence the only 6 inches of snow).

It's been snowing all day. Light fluffy stuff, but another 3 or so inches (I'm guessing). The worst part (aside from having to drive in the stuff) is that it is COLD. No, I mean REALLY COLD. I might even try that boiling water trick tomorrow when the high might not crack out of the teens. Brr-r-r-r-r-r-r-!

That is the only thing that I don't miss about South Bend. The COLD!! I just cannot handle it! Hope you stay warm in your nice house!
