First Snow 2010

Our first snowfall was in November, but I wanted to post pics of how excited the girls were to don their snow gear and head out the door to play in this "soft" cold stuff.

First, however, I'll post a picture of Zoë just before she headed to a friend's birthday/costume party. She got the outfit from a friend last year for her birthday and decided to wear that as her costume. I dug out the makeup kit and painted her face.

Megan wasn't this serious very much- she had fun playing with her little sisters in the snow...

Ironically, as I post this, all our snow that has been on the ground for the last month has melted away in the rain that visited us the last day. It's been nice to have warmer weather, but I wish it's timing had been a little better- say maybe the weekend our furnace broke and we couldn't get a replacement part until Monday? 40 and 50 degree weather would have been much appreciated (even more!) at that time...
