Our Library has what they call "Open Book" each fall. They invite authors, artists, and performers to come and celebrate literacy, to give away old books (and movies), and just have a good time with families at the library. We've been enjoyed book reading by Mo Willems, watched puppet shows, and danced to one of our favorite children's music artists, Jim Gill.
This year was no different, and all 4 girls had fun dancing and singing to songs they know and love. If you haven't heard his music, FIND IT! He's fun, happy, and even the tunes as a parent I think are "ho hum" my girls really love and I'll hear them singing by themselves at various times.
After the concert, we managed to finagle a picture with Jim Gill. We included our good friends we met up with at the library.
