We're on Vacation!

I've been so busy with travelling (by plane and by car) from Indiana through Illinois to Utah, both the Salt Lake Valley and Utah Valley. We've had fun with grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins! Although I have taken lots of pictures, I haven't had much time to sort or work with them (other than to get them off my camera to make more room). Here's one that I emailed Travis:


He took this just before we checked in at the airport (and he accidentally drove off with the "activity" backpack I'd packed for the flight that included books, games, snacks and the DVD player. UGH!)

We have gone swimming, visited Thanksgiving Point, the Zoo, Temple Square, splashed in wading pools in Grandma Winkie's backyard, eaten at a Mayan restaurant where we watched the actors dive from about 30 feet in the air to a tiny pool, "hiked" around Alta in the mountains, and had lots of fun playing with and visiting friends.

I will try to post at least once again before we come home in another 10 days, but for now, just know we're having a great time getting brown and playing with family! And, I am SO GLAD that my hubby joined us yesterday (one of the reasons why I am now able to post something).
