Grandma's Wash Tub

The three girls and their cousin, Jack, were at Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was another hot (90+) day, and the kids wanted to run through the sprinklers, but soon tired of that. Grandma had an old metal washtub that she pulled out and filled up with water. Although Zoë wasn't much interested in the water sports, she enjoyed hanging out. Megan and Jack "jumped" right in, and Miranda was over-the-moon excited to be playing outside in the water!

But it was TOO crowded

Miranda was happy to have the little pool to herself.

Jack had fun pretending the sprinkler was rain.
He and Megan (later) would rain water on each other's heads.

Jumping in the water was a bit of a tight squeeze with all 3 cousins in it.

Zoë gets some squeezes from Grandma.

Lots of love and smiles- hugs from Grandma are the BEST!

This was the best! After Miranda was packed off for a nap
(much to her great vociferous protest),
Megan and Jack took turns jump-splashing in the water.
