Change Hair = Change Life?

My little sister once pointed out to me that whenever a woman changes her hairstyle, she is looking for a change in her life as well. I cannot tell you how many mommies I know that almost immediately after having a baby, they get their hair-do changed. Sometimes rather dramatically. Is that because she needs to accept the change in her life caused by a new baby? Or is it more a way of initiating change? Which comes first?

Anyway, I joined the ranks of changing life and changing hairstyle. I don't know if you can tell how red it is (the light is a little dark). But, I've always wanted to be auburn. Whaddya think?

Oh, and I hope you all have a fun April Fools Day!

I think this is a little more benign than last year's announcement that I was having twins. Fortunately, Miranda was a single birth! I also debated announcing our moving to Eugene, Oregon for Travis' new job at the U of O, but that might just be mean enough to a few family members to warrant being disowned.

I actually kind of like your hair that color too.

I think another reason moms might change their hair after baby is because they finally feel like a person again and have the energy or WANT to do their hair again? :)
(BTW - If I had long, dark, luscious hair, I probably would never want/need to change it!!)
