Big Bang Theory: Time Speeds Up

Time flies, right?

Isn't there some theory that because of the expanding universe, time is speeding up?

It seems to me that with each child, the time goes faster. I can remember Zoë seeming to be an infant for a long time, and I waited and waited for each milestone. With Megan the milestones snuck up on me, and I was a little surprised to see her doing things so "quickly".

And, with Miranda? She went from being a tiny newborn to rolling over to almost sitting up in what feels like a few weeks! Her personality, which peek-a-boo'ed at 1 day with smiles, has only shown more and more with her easy grins, her giggles, and how much she socializes. She does NOT like laying on the floor since she can't see what's going on around her. Maybe it's just a defense mechanism (with two older and bigger siblings, I wouldn't want to be on the floor, either!). But I think she loves looking around, seeing people and places. I am trying to savor each moment, and enjoy the times we have together. I take thousands of pictures (yes, Travis calculated that when I deleted last year's pictures off my hard drive today, and cleared up 10 GIGAbytes, I'd deleted 20,000 pictures) so that I can remember some of the "good ol' days" with my little kids.

Still, time keeps slipping away from me.
