Cross Country, Day 4 (Sunday)

Sunday was an easy, laid-back morning. The sun came out adn was beautiful. We walked over to the Hall's just before church, and saw Cathy working on her yard (which I always appreciated- she gave us a beautiful view!)

Nica and Guiseppe, the Hall's dog.

We went to church a little early so we could catch some of the people from Notre Dame ward. It was great to chat with so many of my old friends! Although, I think the girls were bored. We attended the South Bend Ward, which was also nice to see more friends.

After church, we went home and the girls ran off to play with friends. We walked over and took a few pictures in front of the trees we planted 7 years ago when we lived in the house. They had grown about Zoës height just before we moved. Look at them now!

It is taller than the house! Someday this will be a beautiful shade tree to help keep the house cooler in the summer. I am so glad we planted it, and so glad that Cathy keeps the trees trimmed.
Zoë is now barely as tall as the lowest branches.

Bailey girls in front of our old house on Peashway Street.

The kids were in and out so we never really sat down to dinner. But, this allowed me some time to sit and have a really wonderful visit with Stacy Andrew, a dear friend that I was so glad to have the chance to just laugh and cry with.
